- Internet And Business Online – The Act Of Interdependence

by: Scott Lindsay

The best role of business online is that of interdependency. We’ve all heard the old saying, “No man is an island.” When it comes to online business this is especially true. ...

If a business owner who takes their business into the online world determines they will be self reliant and never accept the help of anyone then that individual will not be in business long enough to change their minds.

It is accepted fact that the greatest tool for long-term exposure to your website is through Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Without it potential customers can’t find you. It is unreasonable to expect that you can adequately develop a website without optimizing your website for the best possible search engine ranking.

Search engines also place a high value on sites that have links placed on existing sites. These ‘backlinks’ demonstrate to search engines that others trust your site. By placing your link on their website these other businesses indicate a trust and recommendation for your site.

In effect the two strategies listed above rely exclusively on what others can do for you when it comes to your online business.

Shirley Temple once proclaimed in her movie Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, “I’m very self-reliant.” American westerns are filled with lines dealing with pulling yourself up by your bootstraps and holding down the fort. Many of us have grown up to believe if we want something done right we have to do it ourselves.

This thinking is in opposition to the rules associated with an online business.

The online world can only exist because people share. Individuals share technology, but the also share links, reviews, blogs, forums and a wide range of other marketing strategies that find a commingling of interdependency.

In online business you are as dependent on others as they may be on you. Unlike the word ‘dependent’, the term interdependent indicates a mutual dependency. In other words you are depending on others to help provide links back to your site while they are equally dependent on you (or others) for the success of their business.

Have you really taken a proactive approach to networking? It’s possible you are reading this today and you’ve never considered asking someone else to place a link to your site on his or her online business site.

It can feel awkward depending on others to achieve online success especially if you’ve been lead to believe reliance on others is also a sign of imposing on their otherwise brilliant generosity.

I suppose it could be a deep-seated sense of pride that makes it hard to consider the need to ask others for help. However, the truth is depending on others is really what has made the Internet possible. The growth of this online world is comprised of a link of computers, networks and servers that are connected in a way that provides the maximum benefit for all.

Building an online business can feel a bit like trying to build a house of cards. Without the ability to rely on the other ‘cards’ around you it is virtually impossible to build.

Interdependence. This is the essence of online business.

- Learning Problems in Children

by: Dev Sri
Children can experience learning problems because of several reasons. Some children excel at studies while others strive hard. In this article, we discuss the different behavioural and learning problems that students aged 5-15 face....

Dyslexia

Dyslexia is reading problem. The children find it difficult to read what they have written. Dyslexia is characterised by the difficulty of brain in separating and processing written and verbal language. These children find it difficult to learn spelling and to read fluently. They also confuse between similar looking letters like b, d, p, q, etc. They also tend to skip letters, words or sentences while reading.

Dysgraphia

Dysgraphia is the difficulty to write. Students with this problem may be smart at reading and memorizing. Such students also show signs of diminished motor coordination and find the tasks like tying a shoelace.

Dyscalculia

Dyscalculia is problems associated with numbers. They interchange the places of digits. This problem makes it difficult for the children to learn mathematics.

Dysnomia

Dysnomia is characterised by lack of ability in memorizing names or words. Pupils with this problem find it difficult to remember the word for objects, places or things.

Dyspraxia

Dyspraxia is characterised by lack of or poorly developed skills in skilled tasks like typing, sewing, etc. Such children can also show signs of difficulty in controlling sound and speaking and can be slow at eating or drinking.

Children with these type of disorders may be smart at one or more special skills. For example, Ernest Hemingway is believed to have suffered from Dyspraxia.

Helping the children and instilling in them a sense of confidence is essential for the development of such children and to help them lead successful live

- Keep Walking.....

My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word.I agree.
Seriously.... Please read.Quite interesting!!!
Keep Walking.....

Just to check this out......
The Organs of your body have their sensory touches at the bottom of your foot.

If you massage these points you will find relief from aches and pains
as you can see the heart is on the left foot.
Typically they are shown as points and arrows to show which organ it
connects to.

It is indeed correct since the nerves connected to these organs terminate
here.

This is covered in great details in Acupressure studies or textbooks.

God created our body so well that he thought of even this. He made us walk
so that we will always be pressing these pressure points and thus keeping
these organs activated at all times.

So, keep walking...

folks. Seriously.. Please read:

STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters...
My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word.
I agree. If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some
folks. Seriously.. Please read:

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall -
she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to
call paramedics) and just tripped over a brick because of
her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new
plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up,
Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the
evening. Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone
that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at
6:00pm, Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at
the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a
stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don't
die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition
instead.
It only takes a minute to read this...
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim
within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a
stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke
recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient
medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Thank God for the sense to remember the "3" steps, STR .
Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify.
Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The
stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people
nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a byst! ander can recognize a stroke by
asking three simple questions:
S *Ask the individual to SMILE .
T *Ask the person to TALK . to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE
(Coherently) (i.e. . . It is sunny out today)
R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .
{NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person
to 'stick' out their tongue... if the tongue is
'crooked', if it! goes to one side or the other that is
also an indication of a stroke}
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these
tasks, call 9-1-1 immediately and describe the symptoms
to the dispatcher.

- What is asthma ?

By Greg Richmond.

Asthmais commonly divided into two types ; allergy induced asthma and non -allergic asthma. Both result in the similar symptomps :

    • A dry , irritating , persistent cough , particularly at night , early morning

    • A tightness in the chest

    • A shortness of breath and

    • A wheeze when breathing

When then symptomp occur a visit to your local G.P is advised.

People with asthma have sensitive airways and these become restricted when exposed to certain triggers cause by both allergic and non-allergic reactions.

In an allergic reaction can be triggered by inhaling allergens such as dust mites , pet dander , pollen , mould and some food additives etc.

Non-allergic reaction can be things such as exercise , stress , anxiety , cold air , smoke , chemicals such as perfumes and other irritants.

Asthma is the restriction of the airway ;

    • through inflammation where the airway becomes red and swollen

    • the production of excess mucous to block the airway

    • and bronchoconstriction where the muscle in the airway tighten restricting breathing.

As the airways become constricted the person begins to find it difficult to breathe in,but particularly difficul to breathe out causing a considerable amount of coughing and distress. Many asthmatics are so distressed thy need to be hospitalized to help their condition.

the exact cause of asthma and why some people are some suspectible to asthma than other is not yet fully understood , however , there is often a family history of asthma , eczema or severe hay fever.Although in Australia something like one in six children has been diagnosed with asthma , it can strike at any age.Evidence has shown that unborn babies whose mothers smoke during pregnancy or children who are exposed to a smoke filled environtment during their early childhood have an increased risk developing childhood asthma.

Australia is among the highest in world when it comes to asthma. people need to be aware of the symptomps and consult their doctors if needed.Asthma is controllable with the correct medications and asthma action plan.
